FAQs

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT TO RECEIVE SERVICE?

No. However, we do offer a discount for our contract customers.

DO CHEMICALS COST EXTRA?

Unless you receive a one time cleaning service, all chemicals (including salt) are always included in the flat rate for service contracts.  No hidden fees or extra charges.

HOW OFTEN ARE CLEANING SERVICES PROVIDED?

Completely up to our customer's preferences and general use of their pool or spa. Ideally, we would prefer to service your pool at least bi-weekly to maintain a healthy pH and prevent growth of algae and bacteria.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE THE SAND IN MY FILTER?

We recommend changing the sand in the filter every 3 to 5 years.  To ensure no issues, we recommend a sand change at the beginning of every third summer.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY POOL TO BE CLEANED?

If you use your pool more than 3 times per week in the summer, we recommend a weekly service.  Bi-weekly service is adequate for weekend pool users.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME DURING MY SERVICE APPOINTMENT?

No. We will inform you prior to our arrival and upon service completion, giving you peace of mind and awareness of when someone is at your home when you are not.

DO YOU SERVICE COMMUNITY POOLS AND/OR COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS?

Yes, we do!  We have a dedicated team that services our community pools and commercial contracts.  If interested in more information on the specific services we provide and our contract terms and rates, click the "Request a Quote" link.

WHEN ARE THE BEST TIMES TO OPEN AND CLOSE MY POOL FOR THE SEASON?

The most popular months in our area are April for opening and October for closing. However, if the temperatures maintain above 70 degrees for several days, it may be a good time to open the pool in order to prevent algae and sludge buildup.

WHY SHOULD I HAVE A PROFESSIONAL OPEN AND CLOSE MY POOL EACH POOL SEASON?

There is a very thorough and time consuming process to follow in order to close the pool in a way that keeps it primed and ready for the next summer that includes but is not limited to line blow out, antifreeze, proper disconnection of plumbing lines, and safety cover placement . Our professional opening and closing services will save you time and ensure a proper start and/or finish to your swim season.

HOW MUCH IS A POOL OPENING?

Currently, our residential above ground pool openings cost is $200 and inground is $250.

We also offer a green to clean service that starts at $350.  Some pools will require more than the one follow up due to the condition of the pool. Additional follow ups will, of course, increase the total cost. (The most ever charged to date for this service was $800. You can view the before and after condition of that pool in our gallery section).

DO I HAVE TO CLOSE MY POOL FOR THE WINTER?

No. You do not have to close your pool.  However, we strongly encourage it.  Not closing your pool increases the risk of pipes bursting underground, which can cost thousands to repair! If you choose to keep it open, you must keep it running and maintained to reduce any risk of damage.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY POOL DURING THE WINTER SEASON?

If you would like to keep your pool open year-round, but don't want the work, we offer cleaning and maintenance services during the winter months.

As long as your pool remains on and runs continuously, winter maintenance is not as tedious as the summer months. (Please note that if temperatures fall below 32° and your pool is not running continuously, there is a high possibility of pipes freezing and bursting). Chemicals will need to be balanced at least one a month.  Cleanings may be provided at that time. However, brushing, skimming, and vacuuming are rarely needed as cold temperatures prevent algae growth and bare trees mean fewer leaves in the pool (once decayed can lead to algae growth).

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DRAIN MY HOT TUB/SPA?

Once every three months to once a month depending on whether it is part of a residential or commercial/rental property.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?

Currently, we proudly service all of Clarksville and the following areas:

Hopkinsville, Woodlawn, Springfield, Pleasant View, Ashland City, Cumberland Heights, Greenbrier, Sango, Palmyra, and Port Royal.

If you do not see your area above, give us a call. We are a growing business and may be able to accomodate.  If not, we may be able to recommend a reputable company in your area.

DO YOU REPLACE LINERS?

We currently do not replace pool liners and are only equipped to offer minor liner repair and patching.  If you are interested in purchasing a new liner, we have strong community relations with quality swimming pool contractors that can offer these services. However, we recommend that you reach out to your pool installation contractor as they will have the exact dimensions of your pool to ensure a proper fit.
